A note for my readers...
Thank you for visiting me! Writing is my passion, and I wanted to share my story in hopes that you’ll never give up on yours.
As a voracious reader, some of my favourite stories had strong elements of mystery. When I was in grade school, I remember being taken to my favourite bookstore. Upon entering, the smell of books and coffee transported me to a place of excitement and possibilities.
It was there that I saw an author, sitting at a table, signing their books. In that moment, I realized that this was something I could actually do.
That could be me.
I could give people the entertaining reading experiences I had enjoyed all my life.
As I got older, I wrote for school and for pleasure, and eventually, I learned more about what it took to be an author. To have your books published. It seemed so daunting, and as the time drew near to decide on post-secondary education, the path to become an author looked all but impossible. I feared I didn’t have what it took to create the kind of story I loved. That I wasn’t good enough to write those kinds of stories.
With my love of entertainment, instead of writing, I went to college for TV Broadcasting. I graduated with a wealth of knowledge and amazing experiences, but it wasn’t long before I realized it wasn’t the direction I saw myself taking in life. The truth was, that passion of mine for reading and writing had never left.
The embers of my dream of a writing career remained, and the spark that reignited the fire in my pursuit of this dream was my discovery of independent publishing. Once I realized I could publish my own novels on my terms, I got to work finishing my first full-length story I had tucked away just after college. Once I’d finished that one, I wrote another, and that novel became my first published book, Darkness Follows.
I haven't stopped releasing my works since, focusing on unpredictable stories that include suspense, thrills, and twists. I enjoy spending time in the many worlds I create while writing.
After all, even before sharing my stories, I never stopped writing them, and I encourage you to never give up on your passions. I’ve always written for myself, but I publish for the reader. For you.
It has always been for the chance to give you the gifts that books and stories have bestowed upon me. Of escapism, intrigue, and above all, the beautiful connection shared when the words of the author reach the mind of the reader.
So please, take some time for yourself, curl up with one of my stories, and visit one of the worlds I've created just for you.
